HOW DO I KNOW
WHEN IT IS TIME TO BE BAPTIZED?

If you can read or understand these three questions, then you are ready to offically START your journey with Jesus by getting baptized into the church.

1. Who is Jesus?
Answer: Jesus is your Heavenly Father your Substitute and your Life. Dont worry if you do not know what the word substitute means. If you dont know, it just means your not ready to be baptized. Keep praying and studying the Bible.
And this is what God said, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in JESUS His Son.

2. What did Jesus do for me?
Answer: Jesus looked through time at my temporary life, from my birth to the time I die and said this to me.
"I have taken all the mistakes, disobedience, wrong choices, wrong thoughts and bad things you will ever do and I have forgiven and erased them.
How did I do this? I replaced your entire sinful, temporary and disobedient life with My perfect life of obedience to God. In My earthly life, I made no mistakes, no wrong choices, had no wrong thoughts, did no bad things, and obeyed God perfectly.
I came and lived a perfect life of obedience to God on earth, to give it to you, as a free gift called Grace.
Why do you need a perfect life and character? To live with and in the presence of God you must be Perfect, for God is Holy.
Whenever you accept the perfect life of Jesus, as your own life, something happens in Heaven the City of God, and something happens to the way you live, talk, and think about me. Our relationship will begin to grow and develop based on My love for you."

Romans 5:10
We recieve Eternal life by believing and accepting the perfect life of Jesus as my own life.

John 5:24
24 “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.

And this is how you get eternal life, that they might know you Father the only true God, and your gift to humanity which is the entire life Jesus Christ, who you sent to live on earth.

3. What can I do to thank Jesus for the free gift of his Perfect and Eternal Life?

Answer:
When you understand what Jesus did for you, then you will start looking for a way to thank Him. But the only thing Jesus wants is your disobedient, temporary and sinful life so He can replace it with His Perfect obedience to God and Eternal Life.
So to show your thanks and love, you willingly give Jesus your heart and life by being baptized.
Baptism is a way to show others that you have decided to replace your temporary, disobedient, sinful life with the Perfect Eternal Life of Jesus who died to make this posssible.
When you are put under the water that represents you giving your temporary, old sinful life to Jesus.
When you rise up out of the water that represents you have now recieved Gods promise of the free Gift of Grace, which is the new Life of Jesus, living inside your heart and mind by the Holy Spirit.

He that believes in what Jesus did for them and is baptized will be saved; but he that does not believe will be lost.
​
9 If you tell others that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.
​
38 Peter said to them, “Each one of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins will be forgiven; and you will receive God's gift, the Holy Spirit.

14 We know that we have left death and come over into life; we know it because we love others. Those who do not love are still under the power of death.
