SANCTUARY IN HEAVEN
RESTORED AND PREPARED
Jesus Comforts His Disciples, "I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU"
14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s House has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you, so I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you in My Father's House, I will come back and take you to live with me in the Heavenly Sanctuary, New Jerusalem, so that you can live where I am living. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” JOHN 14:1 - 3
TWO ANGELS APPEARED TO REMIND THE DISCIPLES THAT,
"JESUS WILL COME BACK FOR YOU AND TAKE YOU TO HIS HEAVENLY SANCTUARY, NEW JERUSALEM"
6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” ACTS 1:6 - 11
Nicodemus struggles to understand the Kingdom of God,
the Mosaic & Heavenly Sanctuary, New Jerusalem,
and how to enter in through being born of the Water & the Spirit
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. 10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things( the fulfillment of the earthly Mosaic Sanctuary through me) and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things, (like the Heavenly Sanctuary, New Jerusalem)?
13 No one has ever gone into heaven to see and experience (the New Jerusalem) except the Son of Man, one who came from heaven which is also known as (the New Jerusalem). 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him." JOHN 3:5 - 14
