Question #2 - Part 1 of 5

FIVE QUESTIONS PEOPLE HAVE ABOUT GOD

BY:HOWARD MARTIN

The word "GOD" is not God, it is just a title that tells you, what He is or what He does. The title God demonstrates that you were never created. No one gave you life, you always were and will be. My name is Howard Martin but my kids call me by my title "dad". My name is Howard Martin but some people call be by my title "Youth Pastor".

Well who is GOD? or what is His real or personal name?

WHO IS GOD?

1 John 5:7

For there are three eternal beings who live in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Answer:

The title God represents three self-existing , eternal individual beings. Their names are, The Father, The Word(Jesus - John 1:1, 14), The Holy Spirit.

Whenever you call on the title God, you are calling on all three of them to help you. I have five people in my family, all who have my last name Martin. The title my family is called by, is the Martin Family. If you came to my house and said Martin come outside, all five of us will answer you. But if you say Howard Martin come outside only I will come.

These Three Individual Eternal Beings

Work Together and Agape Love Makes Them One

1 John 4:16

16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.  God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

When the word “Agape” is used in the Bible, it refers to a pure, willful, sacrificial love that intentionally desires another person’s highest good over its own needs and desires.

1 John 5:7 - Three Eternal Beings Working As One

... and these three are one.

Genesis 2:24 - Adam and Eve Made In The Image of God, Loving and Working Together As One.

24 This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is married to his wife. These two individual people, are united as one person, in character, morality, making decision, and reaching their goals.

Matthew 28:18, 19 - All Three Individual Eternal Beings Promises To Work Together As One With The Disciples and Others To Get The Gospel of Salvation and To The World.

18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

John 17:1, 20 - 23 - In The Same Way God Is One With Themselves, The Children of God, Has Been Made One With Them, Through Jesus And The Holy Spirit.

17 After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you20 “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.

21 I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.

22 “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one

23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.

When the Holy Spirit lives inside of us, the Father sees our life on earth as perfectly one with His. This can only be done when the perfect life of Jesus has replaced my disobedient sinful life. Becoming baptized plays a part in becoming one with God, each other and the Heavenly Family.
